Personal:
I was born in Detroit but raised in the Bay Area. I returned back to Michigan to attend Michigan State University where I received my B.A. with a dual major in Philosophy and Liberal Arts. The year prior to college I had an opportunity to study abroad and lived in Geneva for one year to continue my studies in French.
My professional background includes working in Procurement for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Department of Energy. I also managed two law firms for over 6 years in California as well as Nevada. My experience also includes bookkeeping for the Economic Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) and Assistant to the Controller of the Reno Gazette Journal. I have also been a small business owner for over 10 years in Reno.
My family and I are passionate about being outdoors and are avid skiers. The Reno/Tahoe life syle has been an amazing experience for us. My husband has been a commerical real estate agent for over 20 years specializing in commercial and industrial properties. We are thrilled to call Reno home and to have raised our two children here. Reno has so much to offer and moving here from California was the best decision we could have made!
